Tele-ICU Service Connected Critical Care

The Tele-ICU service is a transformative leap in critical care, bridging peripheral ICUs with a centralized Command Center hosted within the Jordan Digital Health Center. This service enables continuous, high-resolution remote monitoring of ICU patients via the advanced eCareManager platform, combined with two-way audiovisual communication between bedside teams and central specialists.

Real-time data from ventilators and patient monitors is streamed securely to critical care experts. These experts, supported by access to full patient medical files, lab results, medications, and historical clinical data, are empowered to make informed decisions and offer timely guidance in complex and high-risk situations.
The integrated audiovisual solution enhances collaboration by allowing live consultations, immediate alerts, and hands-on virtual presence—ensuring no delay in care. This model provides round-the-clock oversight, helping local teams manage critically ill patients with greater confidence and expertise, even in the most resource-limited areas. By eliminating the need for unnecessary patient transfers, the Tele-ICU ensures that rural ICUs deliver a standard of care equivalent to tertiary-level facilities. Ultimately, it improves clinical outcomes, reduces complications, and adds a vital layer of safety and support for both patients and healthcare providers.
